Setting memory limits for Eclipse-based applications

Given Notes 8 runs on Eclipse 3.2, you should be able to follow the startup tips posted here for setting JVM limits on memory and permgen space:

If you can't change the way Notes 8 starts up Eclipse via the commandline, look for an eclipse.ini (or notes.ini?) file in the Notes install folder (same place that notes.exe is) and set values in there instead:
